Shane Spees
Shane Spees joined Baptist Health System as President and Chief Executive Officer on February 1, 2007. Prior to joining BHS, Spees was President of Valley Baptist Hospital Holdings, Inc., a member of Valley Baptist Health System in Texas. Previously, he had served as Senior Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of the 600-bed Valley Baptist Medical Center - Harlingen, also in Texas. He joined Valley Baptist after holding various leadership roles within the Memorial Hermann Healthcare System in Houston. Spees received a master's degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. He also holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi School of Law and a bachelor's degree in Public Administration from the University of Mississippi.
Alan Bradford joined Baptist Health System in August 2007 as Vice President of Human Resources, bringing with him more than 25 years of experience in progressive management. Prior to joining BHS, Bradford served as Vice President of Human Resources and Support Services at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, and was Corporate Director of Human Resources with Ahold USA, the American arm of Netherlands-based Royal Ahold, one of the world's top grocery retailers. Bradford holds a BBA in management and marketing from the University of West Georgia.
Elizabeth Ennis, M.D.
Dr. Elizabeth Ennis has been with Baptist Health System's Medical Education program since 1994. Before being named Vice President, Medical Education and Research, she served as Director of the Internal Medicine and Transitional Residency programs at BHS. She received her medical degree from the University of South Alabama in 1989 and did her internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she also completed her residency and a fellowship in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism. Dr. Ennis is the author of several publications and has been the principal investigator of clinical research projects. In addition, she has been an invited lecturer at both the local and national levels on her work.
Pringle Ramsey, CPA, FHFMA, joined Baptist Health System in July 2007. His more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of financial operations, planning and analysis includes serving as Vice President for Financial Planning of Valley Baptist Health System in Texas. He has also held senior leadership positions with Harpeth Health Corporation in Nashville, Tennessee; Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in Houston, Texas; Cain Brothers & Company, LLC; and St. David's Health Care System. Ramsey holds a BBA in accounting from the University of North Texas and is a Healthcare Financial Management Association Fellow.
