Food Services

Wholesome, nourishing and well-balanced meals are an important part of your treatment and recovery. Citizens Baptist makes every effort to provide nutritious meals that are prepared according to your physician's orders.

Patients are served breakfast between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., lunch between 11:45 a.m. and 12:15 p.m., and dinner between 4:45 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.  Occasionally,  your meal may be delayed if you are scheduled for a special test or treatment. Whenever possible, you will be served after your examination or test.

If you would like to have a family member or friend dine with you in your room , the unit secretary can make arrangements to have a reasonably priced guest tray delivered to your room. Visitor trays are pre-planned on a daily schedule, therefore menus are not available. Charges for guest trays must be paid prior to each meal at the hospital cashier's office located on the first floor.

You may reach the Director of Food and Nutrition, Brandi Green MS, RD, LD by calling (256) 761-4482.

Spoken Menu

Each morning, a member of the dietary staff will visit your room to offer menu choices for the noon and evening meals. This gives you, the patient, the opportunity to express any concerns related to food service as well as participate in menu selections.
