Current Residents

Olivia Dansby, PharmD is a first-year pharmacy practice resident from Abbeville, Alabama. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2012 from the McWhorter School of Pharmacy at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. Olivia is a member of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and a Junior Board of Trustee's member with the Alabama Pharmacy Association (APA). Olivia's current professional interests include hospital administration, internal medicine and critical care. In her spare time, Olivia enjoys hiking with her husband and dogs, playing intramural kickball, outdoor sports and activities, road trips, and spending time with friends and family.

Julia Pate, PharmD is a first-year pharmacy practice resident from Fairhope, Alabama. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2012 from Auburn University. She is a member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). Her interests include internal medicine, critical care, infectious disease, and cardiology. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, going to concerts, and cooking.

Khayla Payton, PharmD is a first-year pharmacy practice resident from Montgomery, Alabama. She graduated from Auburn University with a B.S in Biomedical Sciences in 2008 and also received her Doctor of Pharmacy from Auburn University in 2012. She is a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), American Pharmacists Association (APhA), and American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP). Her professional interests include cardiology, critical care, and internal medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shopping, and cooking.
